"I haven't had this much fun with a book in a very long time. The dialogue shot back and forth - or around the campfire - with zingers and wisdom and unexpected insights. The New Hampshire lore and places drew me in. Wonderful camping spots, quirky towns, almost unbelievable tales from the days of yore and just yesterday. The characters were complex and many, especially the moose, were lovable. Even some of the bad guys had hidden virtues. This crew of incorrigible good guys and girls races through risky terrain and beautiful resorts as they plot to stop a nefarious and brutal power company from ruining the state they love.
